September 2023 – The Vision for Tomorrow Foundation (VFT) welcomes new Board of Directors member Chéleah Googe, PhD. An educator and equity advocate, Dr. Googe currently serves as the Director of Leadership & Equity for Breck School in Golden Valley, MN. She values advocating for students to have access to what they need to thrive in their educational settings.
“We are thrilled to have Chéleah join our team,” said Susan Wolfe, VFT President, “Her extensive experience in education and championing the needs of all students naturally lends itself to VFT’s mission to support families living with low vision.”
“I am honored to be a part of the work that VFT is doing to fund research and provide advocacy for people with low vision,” Dr. Googe said. “I am excited to contribute my skills and expertise to VFT.”
A Virginia native, Chéleah earned her bachelor’s degree in Education Policy from the University of Richmond, her master’s in Counselor Education from Virginia Commonwealth University, and her doctorate in Education from Old Dominion University.
