The Vision for Tomorrow Foundation is excited to share a summary from the Aniridia North America Symposium it helped to sponsor late last year. The Symposium was a forum for the scientific community to present current aniridia-related research findings and facilitate collaboration on future studies.
VFT leaders were on hand at the meeting to network with researchers and uncover the best approaches to help those with aniridia. These discussions help to shape VFT research priorities and uncover innovative work to consider funding. VFT is constantly working with scientists to better understand the ever-evolving discoveries in ophthalmology, genetics, biology and beyond to further advance work to better understand and improve challenges for those with low vision.
